- Psychological safety is the soil for leaderless leadership. Danny Wareham's finding that culture can replace the leader only holds where trust and safe behavioural norms let people step up fluidly — "who's the leader when the leader's not in the room" is answered by a culture people trust enough to lead in .
- Vulnerability is only safe when it's discerning. The vulnerable-leadership debate (Truth or Lie) reframes the buzzword: psychological safety is not unlimited self-disclosure, but a culture where discerning shares of vulnerability are met with trust, not exploitation .
